Okay here's my situation.  I'm trying to make an event where there's a talking bounty book (TBB)

But there's a line of code that I seem to be screwing up.

Because I can get it to talk to the book and make it give you a quest.

But I don't know how to make it tell when you have enough of the item it gives you the prize or when you don't have enough to tell you to hunt again.

I think I understand how to set a variable to an item.  But I'm missing something.

Any help would be appreciated.

Control Variables will let you set a variable to be equal to the number of a certain item you have in inventory. Then you just need a conditional branch to check if that variable is equal to or greater than the number you need.

I think what you are probably looking for is the Game Data option under Game Progression/Control Variables in your event commands.  You can use that to set the item amount to a variable.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
