Hey Guys!

As my Title say it allready, I need help with the Reset of Event.

In my case,

there is a Puzzle where the player has to get the correct number to open a door.

In this case its "4"

There are 3 Switches (Not Control Switches :) ) where you have to step on.

Red increases the Variable by 2

Blue by 3

And Green by 1.

My problem now is, that if the player steps on the wrong one and the number is above "4" I need these Switches to be reset...

I struggle at doing that...

HOW DO I DO THAT?!

No I dont need the Yanfly Save Event locations, cause this Plugin does NOT reset the Switches :(

Help me guys! Iam not that great yet in RPG Maker MV... Is there any Plugin that solves this?

There is every real chance I'm not reading what you are asking correctly. But, it sounds like you just need a condition to check the value of the variable and if it's not 4, it resets it to 0.

If you are asking about graphically resetting the switches, then when you use the conditional branch to check the variable value, have it change the graphics back then.

The thing is,

if you step on a Switch, there is a self switch which changes the Graphic to "Stepped Switch"...

How do I reset that then?

I hope this helps to understand it more

Okay, so you have 3 events representing the 3 switches. If the player steps on it, a variable is changed. I recommend turning on a global switch for each event (instead of a self switch), so create 3 switches for the 3 events. Call them Switch1, Switch2 etc.

Anyways, in all of your switch events, after you change the variable, create a conditional branch that checks if this variable higher than 4. If true, turn off all the switches for the events, as well as set the variable back to 0. Create a new event page, with the condition set to Switch1/2/3 is on and change the event graphic to the button being pressed down. Remember to do this for all of the events.

This should make it 'reset' if the variable gets higher than 4.

Also moving this to MV support.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
