Hello! I have been wondering if it is possible to use a script, or a script call to make duplicates of an event and place them at the players feet. Or right in front of the player, depending on where the player is facing. I need it to create duplicates of an event so that you can summon more than 1 of the events at any time. But I need them to show up AT the player and not just 1 stationary spot or randomly on the map.

I have seen a few of the scripts but none of them call to players location.

Thanks!

you'll need a clone script (a simple script call is not enough) and then simply calculate the coordinates with control variable command before calling that script.

No clone script will check the player position, that has to be done by the event calling the script before the event is placed.

There are two or three different clone scripts on Ace' master script list.

I know about using the X,Y coordinates for a great many things, but what I don't know, or haven't been able to figure out, is how to use that data with a event spawning script. I have seen just about everyone of the event spawn scripts and it is still a mystery to me. The only Clone thing I have found was Shaz's clone Events, and that seems to make it so you can edit multiple events throughout all maps by editing the original. I am starting to think it was for MV, but I could swear I had seen a spawn event script that called to player location. How would I add the X,Y player data to a clone event script call?

This may have been the wrong place to post this request, since it seems to be more of help with existing scripts, but the problem is, I don't have any specific script in mind or use.

all clone or copy event scripts (both names are used) have a part that specifies where the event is to be copied to. Instead of using fixed numbers, you need to use variables as the coordinates, and calculate the value inside those variables to be the correct position before the script line is executed.

I don't have any links to such scripts or plugins at the moment, or I would give you a direct example - search the master script list for one you want to use, link it here and we'll help you how to write its commands.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
