Event sprite changes when i dont want it to.

Ok so im working on a project and i have and event when i go up to talk to it the spite changes to a different sprite.

As far as i can tell there is no where that i have put for the spite to change at this point.

Before you walk up to the event it is on auto run  and during this the sprite changes 3 times as it is to simulate a injured falling motion.

once i walk up to the event i want it to remain and the last spite as the conversation takes place. but as soon as it activates it changes to

a different character sprite  altogether.

It's a classic.

Check the Direction fix checkbox on the left of the event window and it'll no longer change when activated by the player.

Yep, that's it. There's no shame or judgement in this though. It's happened to the best of us. Good luck on your project!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
