hey, the conditional branch is working now thanks although its turning on when you chose to jump in and help AND when you choose to stay back and watch...

but i only have the switch activated in the "stay back" section... why is this?? screenshot below....

it's because you're turning it on afterwards (after the wait command) ^^

huh? i dont see any waits in the choice branch, can you elaborate on where i should move turning on the switch then?

At the end of your event (after the conditional branch and wait command), it's turning on the switch. That's why the event stops no matter which option you choose.

thats not the problem... i changed the last switch to "bar fight option yes" and changed the switch on the second page of the warrior to play if switch "bar fight option yes" is on

thats the switch that activates the warrior to leave the bar when the scene is over, but still... whether i jump in and fight or stay out, its turning on "bar fight option no" and after the

fight the bar tender or the ppl wont talk to me, it should be that if you fight and win then the bar will talk to you ... i have the "bar fight option no" in the section on the branch that activates only when you chose no, and then all the graphics that are affected by this have a page 2 that has a conditional branch that says:

@conditional branch: switch (bar fight option no) == on

@>

branch end

does the 2nd page event on those graphics need a switch command also or just the condition cuz thats all i have right now, but its running no matter what option i chose

jump in or stay out...

i understand it may be small, and i'll be happy to put it in the other area, but it apparently isnt to easy when i havnt gotten a fix answer for it yet..

Hi... i am making an event to change actor's graphic to swimming.. so What am i doing wrong in this event???? The text keeps coming on and on and on... it doesn't disappears...

Looks like your self switch off command is outside the conditional branch on the second page, so it just keeps getting turned on and off forever when location == 1.

you switch your self switch off right after the second page is performed, I guess that "self switch on" should be inside the conditional branch ^^

OK now the text doesn't reappears but the graphic doesn't change back to normal

That's because the value of the location variable is never changed on the second page. You need to copy over the first three lines from the first page.

Ok my bad :D Is there any way i can limit myself that i have to jump before going into the water... i am using victor's jumping script....

EDIT:- And another thing..... Can i restrict my character to can't swim on the same water tile because now its very narrow as its merging with the sea??????

You want to stop the character from swimming on the same type of tile but at a certain point? I...think...maybe the easiest way is to add an event to that point, set to below player and player touch. When the player touches it, maybe say something like 'I can't swim here, it's too narrow' then set the move route of player backwards 1. :3

gamers694 bumping is allowed after 72 hours, which is 3 days, not 2.

Hi, I'm unsure if this event is advanced enough or if it's even going to be possible without scripting, but I'm trying to have enemies that move on the map and when they touch you, you take damage. My problem is that if you run into the enemy, you almost instantly die. I want it to be more of a it runs into you, you take damage, it can't damage you after a little bit and you can't hurt yourself from accidently pressing the move key that moves you into the direction of the monster. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Oh that's easy beasy! I did this for my Summer Quest game ;3 Ok, here's what you do.

What you have so far, then

Set Move Route (This event) Wait X frames, as the last thing in the line, not really any need for a second event page. Hope this helpses :3
