Event teleporting?

Okay, I'm utterly confused on this one, guys.

I'm working on a game based off of the Ben drowned creepypasta, and I'm trying to make "Ben" teleport to the player every so often. I've tried a bunch of different methods, and none of them are working.

How on earth do I accomplish this?

Not everyone will have a clue what you mean by "Ben drowned creepypasta" (e.g. me) and if that is a crucial aspect of what you are trying to do, a bit of explanation would enable more people to offer help.

Next, you say you've tried different methods - so that people don't suggest what you've already tried, could you give some details on those methods e.g. the obvious one is to have 'Ben' appear using a switch.  Knowing why that has not worked for you would help people focus in on what is causing the problem.
