Hi. I am currently building a game, and one of the skills that the PC gains during her travels through the game is called "Lovin' In The Moonlight", in which she uses the power of darkness to set enemies to their damage state with a ray of darkness. I would like to know the steps on how to do it, and if it is feasible. I already have a plugin to set a button to activate said event, but I would like to know how it works. Would I need to use fixed movements?

you can do it either on 2 ways, for bullets, you can use Galv_projectiles,
not an easy plugin, but easier.

another way is to shoot the bullet from the event, there is an small tutorial
on youtube from the UnproPro how to create this minigame, but you can
extend it easely (can link when need later on).

for the laser, which is more trickier, is best dmg the player on event touch.

if switch is OFF, no laser, no damage, if its ON, and page 2 it deals dmg.
those events runs on parallels, but you have to create a wait between dmg,
and no dmg as well for wait for switching the ON and OFF switch.

but that depends on how exacly the bullets and lasers go,
as in directions,
the damage dealed,
will it target (continuous, close range etc)
will it run a common event etc etc.

Ok, will I need to use a conditional effect for Galv_projectiles for if Daisy (PC) learned "Lovin' in the Moonlight"?

not exactly sure, but it runs a common event when a buller is hit,
but you have to check the demo for it.

bullets is number 1 explained and how to use it,
some people use it for making it for a different approach because it's lightweight.

you have to see if it's working for the purpose you need for.
I didn't check all teh ins and out of the plugin, but play the demo how it is used.
some can come in handy, but see if it works for you.

people that use galv_projectiles more and have more knowledge is able to help
you out deeper in some ways or make it work for you.

Well, rats. Was really looking forward to trying out FPS Creator, but trying to install and set it up was pretty much impossible for my tiny brain to comprehend. So much for that, then.
Ah, home once more! I think I can safely work on my games now.
