Greatings fellow RPG maker gamers, I hope I'm posting in the right section for this.

I am looking for a way to create a system were one event can be activated by another coming in contact with it I.E.

Aevent walks onto trapdoor event and opens a trap door under it.

or

Aevent runs into Bevent and acivates an animation.

to put it as simply as possible I'm looking to be able to create an event that reacts to contact with other nonplayer events.

Your input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

Events cannot trigger events by default, you'll need a script or plugin for that function, or use an entirely different structure. And that is depending on which maker you use, so please post the question in the support forum for your maker.

Because this forum is completely wrong for development support, it's for technical support to get the editors to run if your computer doesn't start the editor or if it doesn't work etc.

So I'm closing this topic.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
