An ABS is always the most difficult battle system, no matter if you're using scripts or events.

A few of the scripted ABS are on the master script list, but they require experience with the editor's option before they can be used.

There are ways to make an evented ABS, but that is very limited due to a lot of restrictions - for example you need to handle enemy HP by variables, which limits the number of enemies on one map.

I think there are only partial tutorials on how to make something evented (like how to fire an arrow by events), nothing I know of goes the full range. That is because most people who want more will go to the scripts, but if you're completely new to the editor that might be too difficult to understand.

In that case I would suggest making a default game first (purely to learn the engine) before going there.

You might want to follow the link in my signature, I put a lot of info for new users together in that topic.

I was looking how to attack in overworld and when attacking the enemies they would get hit.

It is certainly possible, but would require an intermediate level of skill when it comes to RPG Maker eventing. A beginner like you - not a chance. Someone who's been using RM for over a year? Most definitely possible.

But since you are a beginner, I suggest to first get familiarized with the program, and not start ambitious projects like 'I must create an evented battle system!', as this is not at your skill level. Start with something small, for example, you could try to create a monster quest (kill X amount of monsters), which would then make the NPC reward the player with a good weapon. Seems super simple, right? But beginners have no idea how to do this, because it requires knowledge of switches, variables, conditional branches and event pages.

Follow Andar's link to his signature; shape up first.

Because event systems belong in the event system support thread, and we do not allow 'requests' (you MUST have made an effort yourself to create it before you ask for help), I will be closing this,

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
