Thank you for reading this post and I await to read eveyone's responses.

So my problem is I am want to make a telport system similar to how the crystals of FFXII could teleport you to previous places you have visted. However, I do not want the requirment of stones just the teleportation mechanic its self. I have tried to use a conditional list but can not fiqure out how to add location options to eariler teleport spots that did not have the option before.

Now let me reiterate my goal for clarity without the problem incase the former sction didn't make since. The Goal is to have locations become avaiable, in a list form, as you traverse the game at any teleport spot.

So if someone could show me how to event out this system I would really appriceate it.

Do you reach the locations in a certain order? If so, you could use a variable and increment it by 1 at each location. Then your event can have multiple pages, each page conditioned by the variable being 1 higher, and with one more choice/location in the available list.


If you can reach them in any order, the only way I can think of doing this through events is to have a very complex system of conditions, using labels and jump to labels, that offer every possible combination of choices. It would be very messy.


The most simple way of doing it via events, which may not be what you're after (as I haven't played FFXII and don't know the exact mechanic and you haven't really explained the mechanic itself), is to turn on a switch for each new location you visit, and then your event will check the switches one by one, and if the switch is on, ask you if you want to go there. If the switch is off or if you say no, it'll move to the next one.


If you want to use a choice list and the locations can be reached in any order, I would look at Tsukihime's Conditional Choice plugin.

Thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention I only wanted to show option slots once they become avaiable. However, using Tsukihime's script will do even if it shows ??? mark slots instead of no slots. I guess I should have posted that I wanted the list to expand, with only one option being available at first, as you progress though the game while allowing freedom in finding every location. I just need to plan out now how many teleport spots will become available through out the game.

I guess that means this is solved, but if you get a new idea of how to do this please PM me thank you.

I thought Hime was looking into ways to make the options not visible at all. Have a look through her other scripts - she has a few that change the handling of choices.

You have a choice mechanic in the game and things will happen according to that, its in the event makings. Depending on the otpino you pick it would activate another event that you have entered, meaning you can pick where you want to teleport too. Ill explain in futher detail in a few hours

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
