Eventing Duels Part III: Hot-seat PvP battle

I thought the last duels would be much harder, and people would need more time to finish their entrees. However... All entrees were done within the first week. This time, the challenge will be shorter, and even harder!

Here are the rules:
- No plugins!
- No script calls*
- Must be made in RPG maker MV or MZ
- Must only contain RTP (character generator allowed, but no edits**)

But using javascript in formula's by using "Control Variable" and "Conditional Branch" is allowed, only to calculate.
Those are the only exception on the "no script calls" rule.

Moving parts from tilesets to event, from events to battlers, from battlers to tilesets, or the other way around is alowed, as long as the parts itself stay the same. All edits need to be required for the functionality if the events.


The Challenge
Make a turn based battle system for 2 players (player vs player). How you do this, is 100% up to you. You can make a map battle, or find a way to manipulate the actual battle scene, as long as you can do it with events. This can also be troop events and/or common events.

Required:
- Make it so that 2 players take turns on the same system.
- Make clear win/lose conditions.

Optional:
- Make skills, stats and equipment be part of the battle events.
- Make a tournament mode, where more players can battle each other in multiple battles.

The challenge is free to interpretations, specially the optional parts. Make the system your own.
The rules are NOT free to interpretations and need to be followed.


How to compete

Make a small demo with your project, containing all above
Share your raw project in a zip-file with a public download link
You can use services like dropbox, google drive etc to share your project
Remove all unused assets* to keep the file size as small as possible

You have to share your raw project, so do not deploy.
Everyone should be able to see how you did it the challenge.
IMPORTANT: When you apply your demo, you must be okay with others learning from your demo.
This means your system will be used by other developers.

This is a hard requirement. If you don't remove unused assets, like music, sound effects and graphics, your download will be around 350 MB. If 10 members join the duels without removing the parts, this means there is about 3.5GB to be downloaded. While a project without all unused assets is maybe 35~50 MB. Depending on the size of the system.

Applying can be done till the last day of April. Then we vote for the best eventer.

What to win?
Winners will be pinned on top of the wall of fame!
Nothing else is to be gained from this.

Is this Player versus Player?
Or is it ok 2 Players versus Non Player Charackters?

Yeah, the idea is the players battle each other, not in co-op mode.
I'll make it more clear in the description. However, the title does say PvP :p Haha.

As long as you do not change the image.

If you use the weapon sheet, for example, then it is not important what the weapon looks like, but how you use it.

I thought this would be an improvement on the rules. I remember some duelists wanted to do more with the RTP last time.

Not a single entree yet... Is this one indeed more challenging than the last duels, or is no-one entering the duels this time? :p In that case I would finally win! :p Hahaha.

I'm working on my own entree. And I think this one is indeed a lot harder.

I got no idea how to even pull this one out as well!

I might have 2 ways, but to lazy to put this one together.
I think everyone loses as well ^^

Yeah, I kinda gave up on this battle duels. So I made a new duels III for high scores, which didn't get any applies either. :p You can find that one here:

maybe closes the 2 thread for no winners, maybe the lack of motivations of
those 2?

maybe stuff outside battles or high scores?

some easy challengers like the time system was nice though.
but I also have low time, but I find it intresting how you can build
various things with events alone, which can extend the mechanics.

A score board is way easier then time system :p

But I made the last duels ongoing. No winner, no end date.

Someone in a facebook group just corrected something I said, by saying exactly what I said. The mind boggles.
Less than 20 tiles remain in Inside_B that I need some kind of analogue of in my in custom Inside_B, and a whole 39 tiles that I didn't use and can thus make my own custom tiles or my own flavors of from other tile sheets.
