Ever chasing enemy?

Hello,i am making my first game and i need help to create a enemy that will wander aleatory in a house but if it sees the player,it will chase it down for a period.Plus,if the player hides,it will lose sight of it,but if the player hides whle the enemy is in the room,the will kill it(Just like Ao Oni).Can somebody help me out or know a tutorial for it?Thanks in advance!

Yanfly's Event Chase Player Plugin and Yanfly's Event Chase Stealth (Addon) are great plugins for what you are talking about. You can find them on his site at Yanfly.moe
Setting them up will require a bit of script calls in the enemy events notetags, but not really difficult once you learn how it works. If you decide to go that route and need some help setting it up, then feel free to message me or tag my profile name in a response here and I'll see what I can do.
EDIT: My apologies - I just noticed this was for VX Ace ( I don't always pay attention to the engine people are using ) Yanfly's plugins are for MV. he may have something that works similar for VXace though - I'm not familiar with it though.

I think i'm going to export my game to MV,Beucause as it seens RPG Maker MV has a better quality,i only scared because i have found more toturials on Ace than on MV and i was getting familiar alredy with the interface...what do you think?

@HelloHinnie - Well, there is ongoing discussions out there about the difference/similarities of the two programs. My take is this - MV is the newest version so it is the direction that new plugins, new DLCs and updates are going to go so if you want to keep up to date then use MV. VXace has been around a while so there are a lot more assets, tutorials and custom made stuff out there to be had ( At the moment - but MV stuff is getting to be more and more as time goes by ) 2 years ago I may have said stick with VXace but now I would recommend people move up to MV. I just hope that if your really use to rubyscript which VXace uses that moving to javascipt based programming does not confuse you. I started with MV so I didn't have that problem. I'm sure if someone who has used VXace since the beginning were commenting here they would probably disagree with me, but that is why there isn't a solid answer as to which is better. Look at your options and decide which suits you best from this point on.

MV is on sale on the steam store right now for your information...

Yeah,it would be great to work with,but looking on the requirements of the system,my PC would never be able to handle,but thanks for your help anyway ^^
