Couldn't get myself to sleep, so I made a Kuroneko. Took about 2 hours and 12 colors in total. I know I got lazy on the couch, but alas I'm too tired.

OMG!!!! How long does it take you to finish that female adaptation of Akiko 2?  Ugh... so much patience, I tried pixel art and was going INSANE!  i'm more of an impressionist artist myself but I've done pixel art too, actually somewhat decent stuff some say but god it took me forever.... using gimp and little magnifier thing argh I get frustrated thinking about it but MAJOR props to you everything looks amazing!

And if I'm not wrong, that one took me around 2 hours to finish. And I think part of the reason why it takes so long to do pixel art is because pixel artists only have a limited set of colors (or palette), and we have to reuse them very often, which means that we do spend a lot of time selecting the color picker tool to pick colors already used in the piece. I use Graphics Gale, where a right click will immediately pick the color the cursor is on, so I do save a lot of time.

So I recommend Graphics Gale if you don't mind picking up a brand new tool. It's a great specialized tool designed specifically for pixel art.

I really enjoy the two color variants of the knight with the huge sword, kinda reminds me of Golbez from FFIV. I really like the work done on his cape for some reason, it just looks really fluid and "swish-y" (yes that's a word now)

I also really enjoy the items and status effects you have there, they look very professional.
