So i tried to turn off gold and exp from an enemie i made.

What i did was to go to: Database-Enemies-Rewards. Then i put the EXP and Gold to zero.

But when i fight the monster it still gives my charachter EXP and Gold.

    Can anyone help me?

Do you need it to be global or only on specific enemies?

Do you have any scripts that add enemy levels? If so by default they add a flat amount to all EXP and G dropped per level the enemy has over 1, and you will have to disable that in the settings.

have you started a new game after the change in the database, or did you load a saved game? Because some data is stored in the savefile...

Please post a screenshot of the enemies, of the troop and of the event that initiates the battle - we need more data if the guesses until now didn't find the cause.

@Kikko and where is the third screenshot about how you start the battle?

By the way, please use [alt]-[prtscrn] instead of only [prtscrn] for your screenshots, it makes them better readable.

how do you start the battle? how do you check the results?

That is usually done with an event with a battleprocessing command, because running around in the game waiting for a random encounter with this enemy is not time-effective.

But it can be that the battle itself goes correctly and the mistake is in the way how you check what the player gained - or it could be that you made a mistake with the battle processing command or a few other things. That is why we need to see the event you use to test the battle agains this enemy/troop.

no, NOT inside the battle - of what happens before and after the battle.

You did test the battles ingame? you didn't use the battletest-button in the troop window I hope?

Because the battletest-button does not affect the actors in any way, that is just there for balancing help. Changes to party and actors like gold and EXP need to be tested ingame because those values do not exist outside the game itself

Actually checking it now, if you set 0 exp and 0 items, the prompt shouldn't display as Andar said and as I remembered it.

At first I thought you wanted it disabled globally.

In theory what you set up should work. That leaves a few options.

1: The troop event being called is calling a different version of the rat than the one you edited (as in, you got two entries for the rat, and the troop event is using the first). I do see two entries for rat (enemy 5 and enemy 33), so maybe your troop event is using the one in enemy 5 slot, which does give EXP?

2: The troop event has invisible enemies, and those are giving EXP. This tends to happen when we make a troop event and delete the enemy that went there. I doubt this is the case though has that usually crashes the game, but it cannot be discounted.

3: You did install a script, and forgot about it as it is in there as a blank line,

4: The EXP formula in the game has been edited by someone (though it would have to be you or someone who can use your computer).

I'm personally thinking it is #1, and you accidentally used enemy 5 and not enemy 33 for the troop you posted. Try deleting all enemies from your troop, and putting in enemy 33 and see what happens (or, alternately, give enemy 5 0 EXP and 0 gold as well).

If that doesn't work you'll need to post the event that calls the battle here for us to be able to tell you more, as at that point all we'll have are theories.
