Exporting to Android (MV Android Client)

    I'm unable to reproduce this; what version of MV are you using (I'm using 1.6.0, for reference) and what device are you running the app on?

    Still using version 1.0.1 and I'm running the app on a Samsung Galaxy S5. Guess I need to update my MV then.

    There is not any specific tutorial for this type of project. I just followed some general tutorials from youtube, but none of them worked for me.

    Measuring by the feedback I have on my app, probably about the same. Doesn't work too well for low-end and even some middle-tier devices. That's mostly because of how inefficient the RPG Maker runtime itself is, I'd rather use a subset or reimplement it natively (don't think that'll work out legally with how assets are licensed, unfortunately). Web2Apk only wraps a URL, it's basically the same as navigating to the URL in a browser and you probably shouldn't use it for distribution.

    can somebody make/share a video tutorial how to use admob using MV Android Client. I have check and try all other tutorial but still useless. the method are different.. everything is different.. we also cannot make all rpg maker mv game as paid game on mobile platform. user these days prefer free APS on google play and appstore.. they will never spend money on games which never going viral. so it good if we can generate admob through MV Android Client. and publish it as free aps.. that is my opinion. hope it become real.

    UPDATE : i just found this plugin RS_ADMOB.js (http://biud436.tistory.com/73) it enables us to put admob id inside the game. but the sad this is thing, it only work with cordova(complicated and older method). not mv_andrdoi client

    But now i have a problem, i don't understand how to create extra package because playstore have 100mb app size limit.
    Reading the docmentation about APK Expansion Files.

    I don't understand how to create packages...

    Can you help me?

    Hello everybody,

    I saw your method to use our project on android. I used it for the last months and it worked very well.
    Unfortunately, I don't know why, It doesn't work anymore since couple of weeks.
    I can build the APK, I place it on Google drive and then, I download it from there.
    Then my phone (galaxy 8) shows me an error message and I cannot install the APK. Why this? What can I do to solve the problem.

    Things to try
    1. cleaning the build and rebuilding in case something's just gone wonky
    2. plugging the phone in to the PC so you can just run your app straight from Android Studio (phone must be in Dev mode for this, IIRC)
    3. manually using ADB to install the app if you really don't want to do #3 for some reason, still probably requires phone to be in dev mode

    You have to sign the app, and building generate a signed APK.
