Didn't notice any .ini files but when I get home today I will definitely take a second look thank you for helping :)

EDIT: So, I checked. There are no .ini files. :/ Back to square one. Does anyone know how to get this done?

EDIT2: It also appears that there's a small bug. Map BGM's will immediately play at the end of a battle (Battle ME will also play over it) before the victory messages have cleared and the player returns to the map.

Sorry for the double post, but it looks like a pretty major function is missing from this script.

Volume control doesn't work with this script. I tested the same track played five times at different volumes, and it always forces 100% volume.

I tested using .minipsf files, if that helps.

Whenever I start a game with this script, I get this error message:

Script 'Audio Format Extension' line 362: NameError occured.

undefined method 'update' for class 'Scene_Base'

Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks!

I don't mean to revive this topic, but I can't find any newer dated ones about this.

As some have mentioned, it seems you can't change the volume or tempo of the files [at least I noticed this on NSFs and SPCs], however I additionally noticed that if you travel between two maps using the EXACT same SPC file, the music resets, even if the tempo and the volume of the SPCs in both maps match. Is there a way to keep the music smoothly flowing between both maps in this kind of case? o.o

I got a question too, is it possible to add "FLAC" too?
Got some .flac files downloaded from free music sites, but RPG Maker VX ACE doesn't seem to like them. ;)
Would be nice, if not, not a big deal, because there are audioconverter out there too. ;) (\s/)

Hi! I was unable to find any workable Winamp.dll on the internet. I googled for about half an hour but the only link I found was a dead link. Internet Archive does not help. Can you attach a workable winamp.dll? Thanks!

I just found an open-source RGSS XP/VX/ACE player called MKXP. It uses SDL audio and supports most of the modules files. Right now i am using that as an alt.
