Hi there,

Brand new to rpg maker mv or any rpg maker.... I am scouring the forums and you tube learning how to use it and scripts.

0 programming experience so learning curve is limited ;)

So my big question is. I'd like to add +25% light damage to skeletons. -25% dark and earth damage.

Is there a command I could add?

Once I know the formula I can edit the other creatures how I want. Anyways thanks in advance I really do appreciate it.

In your Database, go to the Enemies Tab.

Select the desired enemy (for example, skeleton) and on the right, you will see a  Traits window.

Double click it and a popup window will appear.

The very first Tab is Rate. In the Rate Tab, the very first option is Element Rate.

The way this works is the higher the percentage, the weaker the enemy will be for that element.

So in your example, you would give Skeleton 125% Light damage and  75% for both Earth and Dark.

If you look at the rest of the traits, there are plenty of other things you can do.

Have fun!

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
