Hello!

So I sing and stuff. I was looking for the instrumentals of a particular song, and I know people on youtube are able to extract the instrumentals directly from video, but I've no idea how to do it. What program are they using? How are they removing (or greatly reducing) the voices in these songs, leaving only instrumentals? I'm curious because...well...yeah. I'd like to sing some stuff and put it on youtube.

If anyone has any ideas as to what's being used and the likeness of, I'd highly appreciate being put into "the know." Thanks in advance! =D

Have you tried finding the karaoke version of the song you want to sing? That will give you a reasonably decent version of the song without any lyrics to remove.

I've tried, yes, but all of the versions I've found on YouTube and elsewhere are less than good. I'm (sadly) very big on getting super high quality everything. Picky? Yes. Can I help it? Not really...

I have this demo version of Goldwave. It has an option for mute voice but I haven't tested it out. You can try it. Free demo to goldwave. Go to the options in the sound editor and see if there is one for mute the voice. Then save the song as an mp3 or whatever  you need...

I am finally done making the 'superbosses' in my game!
I'm happy because oh my gosh they were a lot of work, but I'm also sad because I love database work... And also because I loved making stupid powerful bosses ._.
Question for anyone who reads Slip into Ruby or Jump into Javascript: do I sometimes get too "explainy" with the methods/functions? Would it be more useful if I stuck to explaining what the code is doing rather than also delving into minutiae of the technical side of it?

It's up for viewing! See what happened when EquestriAlert got tested in 1997... or was it a test? Did somepony hack the system? Or did somepony push the wrong switch? Even Adagio Dazzle (the owner of the channel) has no clue.

Can you put the pieces together? Don't worry, the game isn't over yet! There's more pieces to add on!
