For my game I was wanting to create a skill that inflicts a state onto the enemy and that when the enemy with the state deals damage to an actor the enemy takes the same amount of damage they inflicted regardless of who they targeted, however I can't seem to find anything similar to what I want by searching for it (though I could have just missed it) so any and all help with this would be appreciated.

Have you searched for anything that refers to 'Thorn armor' or 'Thorn Effect' or 'Thorn skill'? That's what it was called in the Ace scripts which did this, and it's possible that the term 'Thorn' was carried over into MV plugins.

@Kes >_> Not... Recently, I had searched for 'Thorn effect' before, for a more traditional 'thorn skill' however I hadn't searched for it when trying to make this, after a quick search however I couldn't find quite what I was looking for. I want the state to be bound to the enemy rather than the actor(s)

@Haydeos Yeah, I saw that but the only way I can figure how to make that closer to what I want is with coding... I have no coding knowledge so doing that myself would be... Difficult to say the least :dizzy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
