Hi again everyone.

First of all, I apologize in advance for posting this topic if there is already a thread regarding it,

but nothing came up on the search bar of this kind of information.

Alright, so for the dating sim game I'm starting, I have produced atleast up to 8 different expressions with the character generator for

the two playable protagonists and bachelors/bachelorettes. Each character has 4 different outfits, so I have done the expressions for all 4 outfits for all 8 characters..

You can do the math lol

Here is a preview of one the bachelorettes (and this isnt even ALL her face graphics)

Amber_Weeds.jpg

And here is one of the bachelors (again, not all the graphics)

Stephaun_Weeds.jpg

To view, right click and open link in new tab.

SO. Here's the rub. As you can see, each one of the graphics are all on their one individual tileset plane.

How can I get several on one tileset? Will I have to start over?

I just figured getting several on one face tileset would save on memory space (and keep things more organized).

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just copy one of those faces and paste it into another until the set is full. The face doesn't have to be in the first position to work. I'd suggest putting the ones with the same clothes together. Of course, with that many options they won't all fit into one set, but you can cut the number down by quite a bit.

Default Facesets have the format 2x4 for 8 faces per set.

That can only be changed by scripts, and would disable most of the editor's help in face selection, so I suggest that you stay with that format. As Sharm said, the faces in those sets are just one next to another until the grid is filled, and you don't need to make the grid full - I would suggest sorting them into some form so that you know which face is in which of the actor's two or three faceset pictures.

Oh trust me I have them organized well @_@ but even then, its a flurry of graphics.

I did just go about cropping an image and see if it dropped the KB space it took up..and when I cropped it, it took up MORE space so that wont work.

But the copying and pasting thing..I've been trying to do that in photoshop and it's not giving me that option.

Perhaps because the files are PNG?

I apologize for my ignorance in advance @x@

But I just did what Sharm did in Paint instead and that is doing the trick.

Thanks for your support, I'll see how it goes lol

Well after half a year of health problems (that aren't as bad as before), and playing with UE4 & 5... I realized I should finish this project before working on something else. So I decided to upgrade my randomizer. And really just focus on compromising wherever I can to finish the project sooner rather than later. :kaoswt:
hmmm. an art of mine was removed from reddit, for a reason not even listed.
