Ok heres a porblem that i have encountered but i have yet to understand why i cannot make things work.

im currently using Falcao's ABS script on my project and trying to make enemies proc their own self switch upon death. the script tut says to add "Enemy Die Self Switch x" (x representing the self switch activating) in the notes section of the enemy but even after doing this when the enemies die the self switch is not coming on. im trying to make an area in which is full of rubble etc and the player has to clear away the rubble. im using the enemies as objects such as rocks etc that the player clears away. the script itself makes things respawn when you revisit the map which is the opposite of what i want to happen. can someone who is familiar with falcao's script help me out here?

heres a link to falcaos' script.

I've moved this thread to script support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

I don't know ABS and can't give you specific help, but in most cases where something like this happens (Notetag not being processed) the reason is either a spelling error with the notetag (even a wrong space can result in a notetag not being identified by the script), placing the notetag at the wrong place or a compatibility problem with another script that also reads the notetags.

Check for those options, try ABS in a new project without any other scripts and if you stil haven't found your error, post a screenshot here for others to see.

And make sure that you are in the correct notesbox - Most probably that description meant the event representing the enemy, not the enemy database tab because self-switches are on events only, not on enemies...

Have you tried asking Falcao directly? He left this forum a long time ago...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
