Fallout 4 Hype Train is Approaching

I'm not anticipating it myself. I did play Fallout 3 when it released back in 2008 and enjoyed it, but not enough to play New Vegas or to get Fallout 4.

I am excited for those who are excited for it though.

   I really am exited to get it... but after New Vegas I think I can wait honestly. Love fallout 1, 2, brotherhood and 3 and with the right mods New Vegas did make it to the stature of 3 (or better than 3 without them if you are one of those Bethesda lore historians that believe that following previously established cannon and structure to the letter = better game even in an empty world where all story tangents lead down the same road and try to shoehorn you into walking it in order in an 'open world' game.) but it takes a lot to get me hyped for a game and even more to encourage me to buy it on release. 

   I'm sure I'll have just as much fun as all of you a couple years from now, but for now I'll find other things to do to keep me occupied so that if 4 is a flop modders will have time to fill the empty space with life like they did for NV.

I'm thinking to buy ps4 in the middle of 2016. Full list of games I will be looking for FF15, Infamous 3, ufc 2, and yes, fallout 4. I liked fallout 3 and fallout 3 new vegas very much. But now there is one obstacle. Lack of time. Work + RPG Project + Personal life + Gym. Done, no more spare time. But, if apparently I will have some, I'll definitely try to play Fallout 4. It looks even better than 3rd one.

My dashboard on tumblr is filled to the brim with Fallout recently...so much so that I got myself both FO3 and FO:NV to see what the fuss is about.....I finished FO3 within a week and just started New Vegas today. I'm also saving up on FO4 already.

You might get disappointed by playing fallout 4 after new vegas. new vegas had a much better written story, more believable world and so much more options to offer. While I still had my fun with fallout 4 it's no roleplaygame anymore. It became a shooter with rpg elements.

New Vegas's story was absolutely terrible. "Generic Revenge Plot #607. Now everyone in the Wasteland wants needs you to do everything for them because they have no competent people, even though you may have done nothing of note or may have murdered every single person you've come across."

That's simply not true. The first 10 hours of the game were only about revenge if you actually choose to take the path of revenge. the reason why every faction tried to get your attention is that you had the platinum chip which could change the geopolitical power and control of the hoover dam for every faction. the characters and stories were much deeper and way more fleshed out than in every bethesda game except morrowind. every decision you made had an impact on other factions/peoples opinions.

Which is why every companion's personality is "snarky" and why one faction is the only faction with positive qualities while its opposing faction is a bunch of psychotic savages.

And the only impact your decisions have is NPCs spouting one more line of dialogue a million times over the course of the game.
