Hey there guys! Long time lurker, first time poster. Here to show the results of my first full fledged attempt at making a game. Farko is almost completed but still in development regardless. I would really appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback. But most importantly I hope you have fun with the game I made, enjoy!

Introduction

Join in the adventures of a recently founded group of mercenarieshoping to make a living in the magical world of Trimeto.

Choose one of ten classes for each of your mercenaries. The choices

you make matter and make for varied gameplay. You can build your

team to suit your tastes! You want your team to be all attackers? All tanks? Balanced? You name it, there are tons of different options!

Decide how you spend your money. Preparing for your adventure? Maybe you should

hire services from the Capital instead. Sell your loot? Craft equipment?

Decide how YOU want to play the game.

Roy is the leader of the group. He comes from the Inner Circles, one of the     worst places to live in the world of Trimeto. He’s very easygoing and informal despite his tough upbringing, this makes him liked by most of his employees.

Seth Hibron

Seth is the second in command of the group but he’s the one that takes care of most official matters since he’s far more responsible and uptight. After being disowned, along with Lynda, he created the group as a way to make money to sustain both of them. He wants to make enough money to be able to live peacefully with his sister.

He’s extremely serious and strict, almost the complete opposite of Roy. Although he’s not liked by most, he certainly earns everyone’s respect.

Lynda Hibron

Lynda is Seth’s sister, she joined the group shortly after it was created. When Seth created the group in order to provide for the both of them she decided she couldn’t stand back and do nothing while her brother fought. She does her best to help those around her, but she can be a bit noisy sometimes.

Eldwin Frambe

Eldwin is an aspiring adventurer looking to make a name for himself. He knows a lot about most types of magic, making him an important addition to the group. He’s the only one without a personal investment in the group. He’s working for a share of the money the group earns, and to hone his combat skills, of course. Eldwin treats everyone with respectable and isn’t one make hasty judgements. He’s also the youngest of the group at 18, being the most naive of the bunch.

Gave Farko a try over at my Let's Play thread: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/25194-zevias-lets-play/?p=440054

I assume the Rainbow Jellyfish is the end of the playable section? After I beat it, the game put me into the save menu and then the jellyfish didn't disappear and nothing else happened.

I realized after I had finished my LP that I never hired the Bard or the Blacksmith - mistakenly thinking that I would give the Legendary book to the merchant, not the blacksmith, to be able to craft. So I didn't really see much of their features.

I was pleasantly surprised that the classes actually seemed pretty well fleshed out. As I mentioned at the beginning of my LP, I was hesitant to go into a game where you can choose from 10 different classes because I thought they would all be very bland or poorly balanced. My earth-focused character didn't seem to be worth much until level 4 or 5, and I was only able to try out the ultimates very briefly on the jellyfish, but I actually liked the way they interacted with each other. The hemomancer and the adventurer were particularly interesting, I liked the skill-hunting aspect for Eldwin.

Small rant: While using SRD Hud maker for a battle hud, I typed in the wrong script call and got an error, but then forgot to delete the piece that caused the error before closed the Hud maker and hit F5 to restart the game. Now everytime I engage in a battle my game crashes...

Would Jump into Javascript be best off continuing to break down the MV core files, or would people prefer a quick detour to cover everything that's changed in the core from MV to MZ?
Not going to lie... PIXI Particles make fantastic graphics... But predicting the hitbox of something with a "fixed size" but whose graphics can stick out past that, is quite challenging. :kaoswt:
