Farm Mapping Contest!

As most of you know, Celianna has finished her AWESOME and amazing resource pack, and we are in the process of setting it up in our store and making it available for purchase. Rural Farm Tiles pack is absolutely huge and is the perfect pack to use in creating farming simulation or any game that takes place in a simple countryside.

To celebrate the release of Rural Farm Tiles pack, we are having a fun mapping competition!

CONTEST!

For this contest, we want you to create a farm or farming town map. Only one entry per person, please!

What can you use?

You can use the RTP and/or any of Celianna's Tileset and Parallax Tiles. Celianna's got some very cool farm tiles in her parallax section. Make good use of it!

Personal edits are ok, as long as you've done the edits yourself and the source (RTP or Celianna's tiles) is clear. No other tilesets for the maps, though (sorry!).

What format should the map be in?

The map should be shown in a default Ace-sized screenshot (544x416px). You may also submit a short video (15-30 seconds) to show off any fancy effects or features your map has.

How do you enter?

Post your map in this thread and include "official entry" in the caption above or bellow the screenshot. We are also hosting this contest through the offiicial RPG Maker blog. All entries will be consolidated before winners are chosen. Entering your entry in both places is not necessary, and does not enhance your chances of winning.

How are winners chosen?

One winner favorite will be chosen by Celianna, two participant winners will be chosen through a community voting process and two participant winners will be chosen via a random draw. All winners will receive a free copy of Rural Farm Tiles Pack.

And these are absolutely the only tilesets we can use?

And sorry, I hope I don't sound whiney, I just realized that the map from my game relies heavily on some other tiles and Celianna doesn't have anything similar. But it's okay if it won't work for this contest, I know you guys probably don't want to open the door to a whole slew of other tiles being used.

To answer questions...

Personal edits are ok, as long as you've done the edits yourself and the source (RTP or Celianna's tiles) is clear.

No other tilesets for the maps, though (sorry!). We would love to keep a fairly even ground for everyone entering, and we want to see creativity shine with somewhat limited resources.

However! You are most welcome to make non-contest maps/screenshots. I'm sure they will be incredibly inspiring to participants.

And I will try to have a little surprise for those who participated with non-contest maps.

If keeping a fair ground for this is really a concern, I think editing tiles and parallaxing shouldn't be allowed either tbh.

Well, one of the allowed sets is Celianna's parallax tiles, which are meant for use with parallax. So, it would be counter-intuitive to allow that but not allow parallax mapping.

But, really, we don't want this to be some strict contest where you have to jump through 5000000 hoops to get an entry in. Just a few small rules to keep things challenging and (hopefully) fun.

And also I let's the chicken wander out of the farm and not in cages, because I kinda like the concept of Free-range farm.

Date changed when I converted it to GMT, and I didn't catch it straight away. It's fixed now, though.

Since it's a mapping contest, we're looking at aesthetics.
