Childhood games, eh? Spyro 1-3, Crash 1-3 + Racing, Future Cop LAPD, Command and Conquer: Red Alert, Resident Evil, Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy 1, 2, 7, 9, and 10, DBZ Budokai 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Yugioh: Duelists of the Roses, and Dark Duel Stories, Twisted Metal 2-4 + Black, Digimon World 1-3, Golden Sun 1 and 2, The Legend of Dragoon, Breath of Fire 3, Super Mario Bros., Blaster Master, Megaman, Darkstone, and last but not least Pokemon (any game, they're all freaking fantastic, though Gold's my favorite)

I present you the name of my most enjoyable "game" at my childhood. It was called... DOS.

Does it counts?

Super Metroid.

I can't believe I forgot that one. Super Metroid is truly one of the most masterfully crafted video games of all time. The music, the atmosphere... everything.

Although I didn't get into it until about middle school, I do consider the Pokemon series (namely Ruby and Soulsilver) to be on my list of favorite childhood games. Before that, I had only played two 'real' games (Smash Bros. Melee & Fire Emblem...don't remember which one)...and a whole slew of random learning computer games- yeah...I really was into those games like Carmen Sandiego and others.

I've got so many...

Terranigma, Secret of Evermore, Phantasy Star, Sonic the Hedgehog, Collums, Altered Beast, Bonanca Brothers, Monkey Island, Civilization, UFO, Dragon Cave, Dragons Lair, Mystic Quest, Final Fantasy 1-6, Parasite Eve, Elvira....

I played so many different genre and games that I think I really got a good sense for Stories and Gameplay-Systems. It's horrifying how many New games have such low value on story or player comfort... They get so senseless sometimes or ruin the feeling of a real good game series (like Final Fantasy all after X and Dragon Age 2)

Final Fantasy for NES is my all-time favorite game. The Legend of Zelda for NES is a close second.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
