Favorite Couple

It's the weekend and time to relax or work on projects around the house. Want to ask. What is your favorite couple? They can be from an anime, game, or manga. Also please add the reason why like them so much.

For me Lisa Hayes and Rick Hunter were an awesome couple especially with the off/on relationship and the war they were fighting. The last episode was epic too and the ending. It was hard watching the on/off relationship wondering if they would ever be together.

Owain and Severa from Fire Emblem Awakening & Fates. There’s just something sweet about the fiery red-head falling for the dorky geek. Plus the waybshe wngraves his name onto her sword is extra adorable.

Also, whilst not technically a couple, the amount of sexual tension between a Shinji and Asuka from Evangelion is just unbelievable.

Agree. In the manga it was never known who Shinji would end up with but there was a nice scene with him Asuka at the end.

Though, I felt there was a much stronger hint at Shinji and Rei getting together due to her more fleshed our character. At least Rei showed an interest in Shinji (or perhaps that could be a bit of Yui showing through

Granted not sure if Steven Universe counts but they really did a whole lot I wasn’t expecting and is just a fantastic character.

Coach Taylor and Tami Taylor from Friday Night Lights and Kevin Garvey and Nora Durst from The Leftovers are my two favorites.

@NeoFantasy I agree Shinji and Rei had a better relationship than he and Asuka.

The manga was left open-ended so we can only guess, but Rei did say she was going to reborn as well so she would be competing for his affections too.

He and Rei make a nicer couple to me too.
