Hey there, everyone! What is the kind of video game that you would most like to play? Like, a social deduction game, like Among us, or a minigame rush, like Mario party? I'm open to your opinions! Thanks!

Strategical games, like Super Robot Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics and Shining Force.

They can be epic, but at the same time they let you play the speed you want, one mission a day. Other good ones are the Advanced Wars for GBA (while I'm not really won by Fire Emblem as many does)

I'm most partial to action-JRPGs like the Ys series (which has quickly become my favorite series). I've had games from other genres/types that I've enjoyed, but at the end of the day my favorite genre has to be action-RPGs/action-JRPGs.

RPG, Dungeon Crawler, Metroidvania.
Perfect combo to me, but I can play anything except sport games.

I play almost everything tbh, from western rpgs to shooters, its hard to choose one as i get "seasonal cravings" i switch from one genre to another and focus on games from that genre from time to time.

The ones who suck most of my time are either ARPGS, MMOs and Bethesda's open world stuff.
I have a huge soft spot for metroidvanias and stealth games, specially metal gear.

The games who have sucked the most of my time ever are WOW, Skyrim (mod addict), Fallout 4 (because mods), PSO2, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, Gundam Breaker, Metal Gear and Castlevania (as franchises) in that order.

Havent played much of "pure" light novels and its my least liked videogame genre i need some action in between, like what Blazblue or Fate/Extella do.

I like a little bit of everything, but my favorite genre is party based first person dungeon crawlers like older Wizardry and the Elminage series. It's better if the actual battles take place on a separate scene, so you can go all out with enemy numbers and placement, instead of one or two HP sponge enemies you're throwing 4-6 people at.

Japan seems to love them too, as this particular style has spawned literal hundreds of dungeon crawlers that'll never see an English release.

My top three genres are rougelikes, puzzle-platformers and card-collecting games. I like visual novels too but usually I play ones that have an additional game mechanic (such as simulation, RPG or clicker).

Puzzle-platformers are a personal favorite of mine.

Over time and as I get busier I've switched from rpgs to roguelites and mobas (lol specifically)
I do not have the time anymore to spend 50/80h on an epic story based rpg, and enjoy spending the same time in 30min sessions instead.

I am a huge fan of old school rpgs (Phantasy Star, Beyond Oasis... things like that) and first-person shooters.

Stick fight: The game, it's basically a game where it just flips you off and lets you fight your friends with no extra instructions.

It's honestly one of my favorite games to play with a friend while waiting for something.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
