So this here is a short demo for a game I made for the IGMC entry i entered last year. I got in the top 50's (got in 48th) at the time had no story and barely any mechanics as shortly after designing the maps and some hiding events I got ill. After it was over I invested alot of my time in this game to include these mechanics. A friend known as @Rikifive designed the UI for the flashlight battery and fear meter. Another friend known as @HawkZombie is writing the story for me.
At the moment there is only an intro story. You can explore the mansion and discover all the hiding places. Still am working on the game and getting monsters created so u have something to fear later on.
Synopsis
FEAR is a game not about stealth, but evasion. The main character, Josie, is being hunted by bioweapons that she and her team have created, and are woefully out matched against. The only means of survival is running, and hiding. Taking elements from the Clock Tower series, you must use the environment to help conceal you from the enemies and monsters in the game.

- Enemies chase characters in certain rooms that isn't for puzzle solving or safe rooms.
- Save using a Binder (to save use Binder paper to write down your story)
- Choices that changes the ending(and Romance choices) *I have a writer who is doing story choices, characters and romance*
- Battery packs to recharge flashlight
- You only have equipped is a flashlight, which requires batteries, and depletes when used.
CHARACTERS
JOSIE C.Protagonist.
CHARLES S.Take charge, down to earth, stable kind of guy. The type you can rely on.
ALEXANDER C.Brash personality, know-it-all, and is quite arrogant. However, when put into the game’s situation, he starts to break down unless Josie calms and reassures him by feeding into his ego.
It’s a wonder how he even got to be a scientist. Seems aloof and distracted. Dude bro kind of guy. Is only interested in escaping.
CALLIE S.
Meek personality, timid, and quick to frighten.
JESSICA D.
Stand-offish attitude, comes off as bossy and *****y at times.
SARA U.
Brainy, Know-it-all like Alexander, but not arrogant. Inquisitive, and questions everything. Knows her life is on the line but still wants to investigate the situation to figure out what caused it all, and who is behind it.
PLOT
Josie is one of the scientists working on a top secret weapons project when she, and the other leads of the team, are kidnapped and put into their own testing ground with some deadly changes. The bioweapons are hunting them, and not everyone will get out alive.
SETTING
This game is set in modern era in a french 1880's mansion which seems to be abandoned - bloody bodies everywhere, food left untouched, TV's left on with no signal.
