[Feature Request]Widescreen Support for XP and VX/Ace

Hi there!

I don't know if Degica still have any plans of giving further support for these old makers, but if that's the case, I really would like to see this available for them. Either as a tick option in the F1 config menu, or a permanent "no turning back" change in the resolution.

If you can't, or don't want to do this, okay then…

 

I don't know if official would have a plan on updating old makers. But it's really unlikely, they stick on the newest RMMV.
But if you just want a big(ger) screen (in VXAce), there is already script for that.

 

Actually I use the XP version @TheoAllen. Is there a script compatible with it too?

You can use a script to increase the resolution in both makers. There was at one point a dll which would allow Ace to use any resolution, however it was taken down. There is a small chance it may get officially released, but it is pretty unlikely.
