Hey everyone.
This is likely a ridiculous question, and I apologize for even having to ask it.
Maybe I've been at it too long, but this feels like it should have a simple fix.
I have an NPC who I want to face the player. The NPC walks 2 steps to the right, then faces left, toward the player.
I'm using the old man in People4.png that came with RPG Maker MV.
The problem is, even though he's stopped, he's still mid-step.
I have tried turning on and off walking animation / stepping animation / direction fix in all sorts of combinations that make sense to me, but none of them result in the old man just standing and facing left.
I solved this by creating a copy of People4.png and erasing the walking animation, and replacing it with the standing animation. That worked, but it seems wasteful to have to include a whole other image just for this one brief cut scene... especially when the image I want is already included!
Anyway, can someone please tell me how I can force it to use the standing still image?
Here's the event movement where I tell it to do the thing, minus all my failed attempts at adding direction fixes and walking animation tweaks and what not.
Thank you for your time.
