File Encryption Suggestions?

Because I use bought resources, I'm required to encrypt my files before distributing my game. However, using the Maker's compression tool fails on me multiple times, enough to where it takes many attempts over several hours for it to succeed, if it does at all (I'm using Ace, by the way).

So, does anyone know of any alternate encryption tools? I know I can just look stuff up, but I'm a new at trying to encrypt files.

There's no reason for the compression tool to fail, or take hours, unless your data is too large.
Are your sound files compressed? What size is your game's Audio directory?

I guess that was the obvious answer. I didn't think it was because the past few times I uploaded my game the compression worked fine, and I hadn't changed the audio at all. There is a lot. But when I removed it after your suggestion, it worked again. I have no idea what changed. I also wanted to avoid adding another step to the installation process, but I guess now I don't have a choice (if I want to upload a package with the RTP included).

Music is not encrypted by Ace, so you can make it a 2-parts download.
One without the Audio directory (just move it elsewhere on your harddisk and use the Compression tool as usual)
The second with just this Audio directory as it is. As long as the final result has the same structure - that is, Audio being a direct sub-directory of the game's folder - it'll work fine.
