I am making a little tutorial game to show her how simple it can be to make a game but the problem I have is when I playtest and try to save the game cashes and when I try to load the save it says "Script 'Scene_File' line 241: ArgumentError occurred. marshal data too short." I haven't messed with any scripts even if I try to make a save in a completely new project the same thing happens.

RMMV
Please don't use bitmaps - they are SO big and have to be downloaded. Save your image as a jpg file instead, and it can be attached to your post.

Also, after downloading it, it doesn't provide any information anyway. If you haven't messed with scripts, there's no point showing us a part of a script which may or may not be involved.

My question would be, where is your project saved, and do you have administrator access to that area? My guess would be that you've got it in Program Files or some other windows-owned directory, and Windows doesn't like you saving there. So move it to My Documents or to a new folder on the C drive - move the whole project there after closing the editor.

Then try again and see if the issue goes away.

Also, please do not post the same question in multiple forums. Your first two posts need to be approved by a moderator before they can be seen, and after that, depending on where you post, they may still require moderator approval for particular forums.

I've never seen it before. Googling it reveals one other person who also has the same issue.

Closing and opening Unity didn't help. Nor did saving the scene with a different name (which does work), closing Unity, deleting the original, renaming the new scene's file to match the original name, then opening that in the editor and saving it.

If I save the scene as a new name I can keep saving to it without issue (edit: see below). For some reason, though, even if it's a completely new file, I lose the ability to save to a file at a particular path.

Any ideas?..........http://www.traininginsholinganallur.in/php-training-in-chennai.html | http://www.traininginsholinganallur.in/pega-training-in-chennai.html

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
