So I made a quick little game and I'm now trying to compress the game and put it on mediafire so people can download my game. Every time I go to compress the game to my desktop it goes through the loading bar. When it finishes this window pops up:
Is there anything I' doing wrong here? or is this just some random error and I need to restart my computer or something?

I would try a quick restart maybe. If that doesn't work then the problem is definitely something more specific.

It's definitley a more spcific issue. Restarting did nothing.

Which Windows Version do you have, and where do you try to create the game archive?

In many cases that error happens if either the disc space is too low or if the folder where you're trying to save to is restricted for some reason. (try saving to "my documents", that should work, if there is enough free space)

I'm running windows 7 ultimate and I was trying to save it to my desktop. I will try and see if compiling to a folder in documents produces different results. Thanks :)

By saving it to my documents it worked. I also realise what the problem was. The game file that was saved to my desktop that is created automatically for easy access was under the same name as the project I was trying to "export". It kept failing to compress the game data because of this. So I successfully exported the game file to "my documents" and then changed the name of the folder on my desktop. After that I was able to drag and drop the compressed game folder onto my desktop without any issues. Thanks for the help guys!

I'm listening to iiluminaughtii talking about the secrets behind shady businesses and scams. Meanwhile I'm writing a fanfic about Sephiroth from FF7, one specifically for my stepmom. I'll get to give it to her, too, because my boss said I could take the holidays off! Dec. 22-27 I will be in Orlando, and maybe Fort Myers too, visiting my dad and stepmom!
Of course, I bought a handful of games on the Steam Black Friday sale. Will I try them? Will I complete any? Who knows...
I don't really have any neat updates today about how I screwed up programming... But if you want to observe the intensenes of me programming, then you can check out my stream :)

No more spam from me today, I promise! Just wanted to upload this, people have been giving me feedback that my weapon sprites (which were RTP) clashed badly with my battlers for ages, so today I finally took the plunge and updated them! Really happy with how they came out :D :D
So Facebook fraudulently took money from me. They even went through my PayPal accounts to find a card that had the money on it. Thinking about deleting my Facebook account because this doesn't happen on twitter, not even close.
