I was originally going to make a thread asking about how chaining works, but I don't think there's yet a FFBE thread on here yet, so why not just make it a general chat area for the game too 
? Anyway, I'll start.

So I finally have a team of all 6* characters! Trans Terra, ExDeath, Luneth, Chic Ariana, And Knight Delita....
I have yet to get higher than a chain of 6. I can't figure it out... I've looked up explainations of how chaining works, a little bit on what characters chain well with others. Delita has a skill called Lightning Stab that hits 6 times... but when I chain it (and I have managed to chain it, elm chain infect, but only for 2-3 with Trance Terras Thundra) it only hits for 2-3 chain. I know there's a window of time that you have to administer the next action before the chain will brake, but I can't be that bad at it. And when Lightning Stab is used in a chain, do all the hits factor into the chain? So Delita Lightning Stab + Terra's Thunder should = 7 hits when they chain...right!? Am I missing somthing?! TwwT ...any help from players of this game is appreciated.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
