Hey all,

Simple question, really. Is there a way to change the Yanfly Visual Battlers Script so that the characters flail their weapons icons when they attack?

I want to turn this:

Into this:

I just want my character to equip the icon and flail it, like in Victor Sant's animated battlers. (Don't tell me to just use Victor's scripts, I prefer Yanfly). Anyone know of a way?

Thanks,
Machooga

If you are able to code it you could just create a sprite class to replicate the current equipped weapon and them 'move it around' a little to emulate attacking.

But I assume if you knew how to code you would have not posted a thread regarding someone elses script :p

Kind of nullified my own comment there...

I'd recommend Yami's Battle Engine Symphony as Yanfly's Visual Battlers doesn't have the feature you want at all and Yami's one should be compatible with most Yanfly's scripts.

What do I need for that? These are the scripts and the order they are in right now. How would I implement Battle Symphony?

etc

In that order ^

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
