I wanted to make a small, simple game to get used to RMMV as I literally bought it today. I familiarized myself with the basics (watched a 30 episode series) but for this I'll be avoiding combat. My goal is for your typical nine- or ten-year-old to enjoy this, while being no less charming or endearing for your typical adult.

A: Plot and Setting
Nova d'Arclight is a first-year witch attending a magical academy for young girls such as herself. The finals are fast approaching and everyone is furiously studying. Yet the day of the exams, all the teachers have mysteriously disappeared!
B: The Idea
I need humorous reasons/scenarios for the absence of the teachers. A single reason need not apply for all the teachers nor necessarily more than one teacher. Bonus points for including an equally funny or unique solution.
My initial thought was to make the disappearance of the teachers the result of an alumni seeking revenge. It's still something I can include but would likely be more of a mischievous joke on the teachers and lower classwomen (they're all girls?) rather than action out of malice.
Something light hearted and comical, that cracks a smile as you ponder "maybe one teacher is waiting in line at the bakery to get her favorite donut" or "the transfiguration teacher's cat took her wand and climbed a tree."
