I'm looking for a way to event this - Extend the duration by a few seconds, When the Player consumes an Item or Un-equips a piece of Gear (Outside of Battle). The Final Effect would take place after "x" secs have passed since Action.

How can I achieve this ? I am assuming I can do this with Events, If not can you point me to any plugins ? Thank you.

Example 1 :
Step 1 - Player consumes Food Item from Inventory
Step 2 - Some kind of Progress Bar or Icon that indicates Player is eating (Can't perform any Action)
Step 3 - After "x" secs, Effect of Item triggers while Icon or Progress Bar disappears

Example 2 :
Step 1 - Player un-equips Armor (On Map)
Step 2 - Some kind of Progress Bar or Icon that indicates Player is un-equipping (Can't perform any Action)
Step 3 - After "x" secs, Gear is removed while Icon or Progress Bar disappears

Note : When I mean Icon or Progress Bar, I don't mean something very complicated, just a simple Bar like the default HP Bar at Battle or if this is not possible, A Pop-Up Icon on Top of the Player's Head, Indicating Action.

You can attach a common event to an item to start a timer (which can be hidden with a plugin). During the timer, you can make an icon appear on the screen via a show picture command. A progress bar that fills up might be slightly more difficult, but can also be done with pictures that change at certain tick marks throughout the action. Finally, for the effect to trigger, you should be able to take whatever effect the item would have had and tie it into the common event. Unless it can be used on more than one actor, then it would probably be better to have the effect on the item itself.

To achieve exactly what you looking for you will probably need a plugin, especially for UI changes and dynamic progression bars.

I've moved this thread to JS Plugin Requests. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
