Game Synopsis:
Three small children go inside the forbidden cave to search for the mysterious 'Chibi'. They encounter many challenges along the way, and solve mysterious Puzzles, and find hidden treasures and equipment. Battle is front view due to time constraint, it used DS tilesets and Midget Ralph, Elrika and bennet. I evented the lighting system myself and the random mosnters you may encouter in battle. The game is under 1hr long.​

Rayner
Rayner is the trouble maker of the group always looking for trouble whereever he goes and explores places he is forbidden to go.​
Jeffry
Jeffry is the best friend of Rayner and Older bro of Sadie, He is always attached to Rayner, and tries to keep him out of trouble.​

Sadie follows Rayner and Jeffry around, she is the goody tooshoes of the group and a spoilt child, getting her way most of the time.​

This game was made for the indie in a week contest on another site, but i thought i would share this game with others due to the positive feedback i had gotten. I had fixed a few things after the contest and added some extras. IF YOU PLAY THIS GAME PLEASE GIVE ME HELPFUL CRITICISM, DON'T JUST GIVE IT HATE, Thanks​

Gave this a game a try over at my Let's Play thread. http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/25194-zevias-lets-play/?p=443110

Was fun, I enjoyed it. The children versions of the default characters were good, with time even to make custom facesets for each of them. The combat was pretty wildly all over the place - some abilities were clearly much more dangerous or effective than others. There was some good humor mixed into the game without trying to draw too much attention to it, which is appreciated. It's only now I realize I never actually tried poking things with Jeffry. I'll have to go back and make sure I go Poke.

But most importantly: "Rooooood!!!"

yeah just Watched the video, and it was very enteraining. Yeah i am still learning the ins and outs of Battle. This is my first complete game :p . I realized the light effects stay on screen I need to figure out how to fix those or remove them entirely. Last update of the game about those 2 chests you couldnt get didnt have a a wall so when i added it it blocked off the entrance to them, sorry about that. Will try and fix those bugs. as well as fix the skill damages :) thanks for the feedback i appreciate it.

For me, the weakest point for the game was the grammar errors and a nearly game-breaking bug in the beginning.

The mapping was good and that's excellent for being your first completed game. I still struggle with mapping.

The gameplay was basic; it's just a basic RPG gameplay... find enemies, fight them, kill them. Nothing extravagent, but that's OK. 
The custom HUD was a nice touch.

The "Rooood!" was a bit funny, but most players might not get the joke; why it's there. Perhaps, if that was an in-game thing they might get it more.

Not bad for your first game completed. It is indeed rough around the edges but you have potential! :D

That's an in-joke? I don't even know why it's there. I thought it was just completely random. Explanation?

It IS completely random.  But some players who are way too serious ABOUT EVERYTHING might not like that. :p

As for game made in a week it's not bad!

Mapping is really nicely done!

Though, story wasn't so good, but I know it's a game made just in a week, so it's not that bad. The 'haste' in story is noticeable ~ it probably could be even a good story if there was more time put in it. (=

The gold is totally not used in that game, why not remove it? =P Anyway, those kids are totally rich. They've earned more than their parents during their whole life. =3

and the game has lots of bugs.

-> Revive skills don't work - I couldn't revive anybody.

-> Skills are poorly balanced - normal attack does 200-300 damage, while skill that costs 5TP deals 50... Totally worth.

-> Multiple mapping errors - walking on water, going through/on a wall in many places.

-> Also lights are not disposed.

-> You cannot get to the dungeon #3 at the beginning twice, so if you accidentally go back down, you cannot go up anymore.

-> at the end 2 chests are stuck - I see there was a path for it, but the save point came out of nowhere and blocked it. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

But in general the game is good, considering it was made in a week, good job! (=

yes I know of the bugs and lights staying on screen, i plan to fix it. I will also make the stroy longer and make more sense :) I am so not sure why the lights stayed on screne i had it delete the images but it just wont work, so i might have to use the khas light script in future :p DAMN YOU LIGHTS. Anyways thanks for the input :) I plan to fix these. The skills i know, the reason attack does so much is because the weapons are OP, like jelly fish are weak to lightning and if u picked up the lightning weapons it does alot of damage. I am still new to the battle optimising so there will be problems :) Not sure why people are having problems with skills, like revive should revive i have it set to remove the death state. The end wall i know because i forgot a wall and when i added one it closed of the entrance >_< and forgot about it, so sorry. The reason why the money is there was because I WAS going to have a merchent in game, but it broke and gave a gamebreaking bug, so i removedi t and just left money in for collectors or whatnot

Do you have the scope set to "one ally (dead)" or "all allies (dead)"? If you don't specify the dead tag, it will try to target living party members only.

I actually thought the gold in game was just for giggles, especially with the dragon pile ("Here's an enormous treasure room! Games always have those!").

One ally dead, is what its set to so it should work... Not sure why tho

Yup, that's how that looked like - it only was targeting alive members.

I was trying to use them on dead ally, but it skipped to alive one and did nothing.

(And that was with two skills (revive and full revive or something like this) - They were used only on alive members)

oh no it wasnt set to that i was lookin at items sorry about that, revival items works for dead characters but revival spell now works, Once i fixed up the game and stuff i will re upload :)

Yup, so that was it. ^^

I didn't used any items, so can't say if they worked or not - but I assume they were fine. The problem was with the skills, so yeah - you got them now. (=
