Hey All,

I just bought RPGMaker MV last night, and I'm about to begin work on a personal project.  Looking at the Character Sprite sheets for both Walking and Battler Sheets, they appear to be somewhat limited in frame counts.
I will be doing all my own art assets, and I was hoping to use 6 key frames for a walk cycle rather than three.  Can this default be increased??
Any help / advice would be highly appreciated!

Cheers!

The framenumber can be changed by plugins, but if you use them you'll be responsible to keep everything working with the new number of frames.

I suggest that you begin making a learning project for the default engine before switching to a real hame project and trying to modify the engine.

The link to the starting point in my signature will help you with that.

Welcome! Andar already answered your question. There are several character frames and at least one battle plugin. I can't look them up right now as I am posting from my phone.

Thanks Andar.  I will definitely be familiarizing myself with the software, but planning ahead, what I am going to be doing will be somewhat art heavy...  So best know there's an option before committing to a LOT of work.  lol!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
