Flashlight for Khas Advanced Lighting

Hey folks, I have a question regarding the Khas Advanced Lighting Plugin for MV.
I'm attempting to make a flashlight for the player that needs a certain armor/equipment attached to generate the light (in this case a shoulder lamp).
Initially I tried adding the [light flashlight] to the notes section of the light ( in the database entry for the light). This didn't seem to work.
Next I tried making a common event that says:
If: Michaels has equipped Shoulder Lamp
Plugin Command : Player lantern flashlight
Else:
Plugin Command : PlayerLantern OFF
End

I also used the above event with the Comment : [light flashlight] first in the contents, tried both variations as a trigger: none and Trigger: Parcelle.

I know in previous versions of this script (VXAce), you could set it as an event you walk into that triggers the flashlight, but it's lost when you go to a new map.

Does anyone have any idea how i can equip a certain item and have it function as a flashlight, until it's unequipped? Ideally it should function for any party member that has a lamp equipped.

should work, but I also should attached a switch on it:

If: Michaels has equipped Shoulder Lamp
if switch Flashlight = OFF
Switch Flashlight = ON
Plugin Command : Player lantern flashlight
End
Else:
if Flashlight = ON
Switch Flashlight = OFF
Plugin Command : PlayerLantern OFF
End
End

and bind this to a button common event (YEP_ButtonCommonEvent)
if you dont have this plugin, I dont know if its a paid one or free,
if paid, there might be a free version from another person maybe,
you can toggle this flashlight ON or OFF. if you use battery drain.

Phew! logged back. Seems I was too occupied with 3D learning (yeah for RPGM purposes) creating IRL space, trying to grow catnip, dealing with health and DC is good. (so MrC) ^^
