I'm looking for a plugin that lets me add a note tag to a state, which increases/decreases a parameter by a flat amount. For instance, I'd like to create an ability for a mage that lets them temporarily increase their defense by 5, but the base engine doesn't seem to support that.

I've looked for a plugin like this on here too, but I've yet to find one that lets me do this in MZ.

Hello, welcome! :thumbsup-right:

What if you create a state that has this effect, but instead of raising fixed points it affects a fixed percentage?

(Sorry, I still can't get the RMMZ to open in English on my computer)

The problem is I'm not looking for a percentage. In my project, numbers are low and defense is only obtainable through armor. So increasing the percentage on a mage with no armor doesn't do anything.

Programming languages are amazing.

Someone needed help with a problem in C#. I've got 0 experience in C#. I read 0 lines of their code. I only knew what they wanted to do. I wrote a completely generic code in Javascript containing the generic answer. But they understood what I was doing and translated that to their code. 20 seconds later, problem solved.
