Haha, you were just in the controller setup, and then right after that you wish the controls were different and the dev should change the buttons... (Every controller has their own setup by default) That is exactly what that controller setup screen was for. Haha.
Game looks quiet great though. I didn't see the whole video, but as far as I saw it, it looks really, really great.
(Edit: haha, then you come back to the controller menu, can't figure out how it works... That is not MV default, though. That is a plugin for sure.)
Hey, I just watched some videos on your channel and you’re doing a good job playing all these games. I would like to recommend the game I made for No Travel Jam. It is a complete game, with about 6 to 12 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace and the level of difficulty.

I can only recommend the First Looks videos from FleshToDust. He plays your game as a casual player would play it, constantly giving notes like a gattlinggun constructed for feedback. As he has a chilling voice, it's easy to watch even several of his videos in a row without getting bored. Good job. Definitely a must-watch.
oddly enough, at this point... 3 major things have kept me from porting my project to MZ... animations, and that's mainly because they don't match the artstyle of my game. and two... I NEED a YED Sideview Battler like plugin and I have yet to see one. 3rd, I don't have the money for all the stuff I need plugin wise. and I already have it on MV... lol
Generally speaking, would there be interest in some form of tutorial regarding general project management? I see there are a lot of indie/self-taught devs around here, and looking back i feel like there was a lack of resources on how to properly manage a project that might take several years to finish
