Floaty/Bobbing front view battle enemies

Hey yall i was wondering if theres a way to make enemies in front view battles float/bob? Specifically, i think that kind of effect will be cool for some bosses. Any general animation help for front view battles would be helpful too! For some reason, I can only find things for attacks and/or side view battles

Definitely needs a plugin. There should be one for that since it's a fairly general and popular thing I think. Maybe check out the Yanfly plugin library.

I cant figure out how to download it? It takes me to a download for a big pack of their plugins, and when i look through the folder i cant find it ;;
Unfortunately, I think only the mass download is available. You would have to download the Master Demo, go to the js folder and grab the plugin you want.

ah that wasnt exactly what i was asking but its okay, i figured it out! Im gonna try it out now and see how well it works with the other battle plugins im gonna use~ thanks so much for your suggestion! time to see how it goes :0

alright so i dont have any other plugins active yet but i cant get it to work for me? heres what i typed in

i tried redoing it in lowercase too to see if that was the issue for some reason.... didnt work. Not sure what im doing wrong? Do you need other base plugins for this one to work? I cant really read anything on their website fortunately.

The picture is a bit small but does it say Float Motion: 4? If so, I think that is out of scope. Float Motion seems to only allow the following:

Float Motion: X
0 - Vertical
1 - Vertical Right
2 - Vertical Left
3 - Vertical Right & Left

Okay... so I started a new project and only put in Moghunters Battler Motion plugin.
I put Float Motion: 0 into an enemy notetag and everything worked.

I am not sure exactly what could be causing it to not work with your project. Have you tried using the plugin in a new blank project to see if it works for you?

strange, it started working suddenly while i was testing something else in a battle. i have no idea why, but at least its fine now!

Glad that it is working for ya now =^_^=.

With some plugins, they do not work right when just using the battle test from the database. They typically require it to be used in testplay. <_< I still do not understand it quite myself...

huh, it did start working in battle test eventually though? so im not sure ;; its good to know that though!

You may have forgotten to save your project before battle-testing; changes in the Plugin Manager are only applied on saving the project. :)

ah yeah! it took me a while but i figured out thats what was probably happening after some trial and error ^^;;; its good to know thats for sure a thing though!

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
