I am creating an event of a character walking for a cutscene. Is there a way to make the movement more fluid? Right now the character is moving one tile at a time. I have tried the walking and stepping animation and obviously this helps the look but the character still only goes one tile at a time.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Maybe increasing the speed? In the "Set Move path" there is a "Change speed" option. Increase this, I would assume they would move faster and thus more fluid.

If you mean the character waits a moment after each step, that would be the "frequency". Set the frequency to "highest" and that should solve the problem.

I was going to suggest that one first, but then speed seemed to make more sense. :/

RMMV
Frequency deals how smooth/fluid the event moves, and speed is how fast the event moves. Set to highest frequency if you want them to walk continuously.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
