Hi all,

I'm using a fog script, and it's actually NOT the script I'm having a problem with because this is a problem have found on the 2 or 3 scripts I've tried. It's not them it's me.

Specifically, I've made a fog graphic, in gimp using the renderer on a transparent background. It's 1024 x 768 and it looks pretty fly actually.

The problem is this, regardless of which script I use, I can see the boundaries of the fog graphic as it moves over the map - (see image below). My question therefore is, what am I doing wrong with the image? It's not the scripts it's obviously some formatting I am not doing, but what?

Any pointers would be gratefully received!! :)

Thank you.

the picture should be continuos in every direction. so all the border should connect with the opposing side.

On your image it's visible that the bottom is darker than the top. So it will not give this "continuous" feel.

Also, posting the actual image you're using would be more helpful to point your exact mistake.

Thank you for the response, I can see what you mean and also yes that would help! :)

However, you've actually sorted it for me  :)

Thanks very much.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
