There appears to be a conflict with Yanfly's Party System now. (Not sure if he's updated it since you last updated, or what) but you're no longer able to remove party members when both this plugin and his are active.


Not sure if you're into fixing compatibility, but just a heads up, none-the-less.
I'll look into fixing that.

I have been enjoying this plugin. thanks for the work.


But want to let you know that it is in conflict with Yanfly's switch actor plugin which is just released

With the follower plugin on, the actor switch won't work. After switching char it is still the same character
Right, I'll try to make it compatible when I get the chance. I'll probably have to rewrite quite a bit since Yanfly uses a different system for the party.

just curious, is the update for this coming soon or it is not the priority at the moment? Thanks for the hard work!

@doranikofu I updated the plugin. It is now compatible (so far as I have tested) with YEP Party System and also requires it. In addition, the file must be named DreamX_FollowerOptions.js

Thanks for finding that. I have fixed that problem in the latest update just now.

Hi been testing out your plugin and I found an issue and I would also like to make a request.


The first issue is if you add an actor with no battle to a party that isn't full it will be automatically added to the formation. This is an issue for me as My party will have a total size of six and will not be full until many such characters have joined. Regardless of that flag. Now it's hardly game breaking as once that character is removed from the formation it disappears. And can only be seen in the main menu's party list.


Another really nice option would be to be able to flag the character as a guest. And have it be in it's own menu. Or at the very least hide it's level and stats to make it clear to the player that this character does NOT participate in the usual combat system.


Just my little requests :)

Use <no_menu> to prevent an actor from appearing in menus.

Oh okay, I see what you're saying now. That is a bug and not intended. I'll fix actors being added to formation when they're not supposed to battle.

v1.09 - Fixed bug where non-battle members were added to the formation if they were added to the party after the game started.


For the side characters, what exactly are they going to be used for in the menu?

Two purposes 1. Lore related I want to be able to access the status screen to display character art and a character bio. The second reason is I want to give these characters a reasonable mana pool and the ability to cast certain out of combat spells that can benefit the party. That way they aren't completely useless. But they are kept separate from the combat system. They each have their own "class" which contains a reasonable mana pool at level one and 1-2 out of combat spells or skills. I am still looking around for something that lets me do this. Your plugin fulfills my needs perfectly as far as Functionality is concerned. But I am trying to find something that will be a bit better than eventually having 21 characters to scroll through on the main menu XD. 


I have seen games made in vx and xp use similar systems. But so far searching for an mv plugin to do this has yielded no results.

its possible to hide the main actor (id1) in party (and now it comes ^^) to show him in the battle but only as visitor? i mean he stay only in the battle and no enemy can ataks him and he cant do nothing and when all party member dead the battle is over? this mean he died with the last party member automatic.


It this possible? i hope you understand what i mean ....
