So, does anyone know if you have a custom OpenType font (that is free for use) when you export compress and export the game from VX Ace- does it package the font with it? Like I assume everyone has Arial or Times New Roman but if I use something more exotic- how does that work? Anyone know?

If you are using a font that might not be standard for everyone, you want to include it in the game's files. I think you want to create a folder called Fonts inside your project folder and add the files there. You probably will also need a custom script for it. I'm sorry I can't be more definite, it's been a while since I've changed fonts. However if you search the forum, you will find some related topics.

Hmm so If I make a Font Folder it should work?

And yeah- a quick scan of other threads didn't give me the answer, though I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere XD

Awesome- that second thread explained it for me.

I just added the folder, dropped my TTF file in there and it exports just fine.

I'll have to have someone else test it later to confirm but it should work.
