I noticed in the MV Script Call list that there's a way to add all items, weapons, and armor (that doesn't have a blank space in the database) to the party. I was wondering if there was a similar function to add skills (again, only the ones without blank spaces) to all the party members.

do you want to add all skills from the database or only the skill that user can get by leveling up?

Hey ♫

$dataSkills.forEach(function(skill){ if(skill) $gameParty.leader().learnSkill(skill.id);});Should do the trick! You can replace $gameParty.leader() with any other actor.

Got it. Thank you!

So when you say replace the "party leader" portion, should my code look like this if I wanted my third actor to learn all skills?

$dataSkills.forEach(function(skill){if(skill)$gameParty.members()[2].learnSkill(skill.id);});Can't test it yet, but I'm pretty sure that would work.

EDIT: Tested and working. Thanks guys.

Could not for the life of me figure out how to implement the dual/triple techs in Touch the Stars in a player-friendly way. Was describing all the problems to my wife and just rubber-ducked a solution that should work brilliantly.
I think I'm going to make each equippable item in my fantasy RPG grant a skill while its worn (in addition to the character's learned skills). Equipped gear that might be weaker in stats can still be useful in certain situations if the skill they grant exploits a weakness or resists a strength in the monsters being fought. This could potentially open up lots of build strategies to play with for fun.

A lot of those cool RPGs allow players to import their own portraits.
Thus, we shall have that, too. :kaojoy:
