For some reason, male faces no longer display

Hello, I tried importing some extra male face parts into generator a few months ago and somehow male faces no longer display in the generator. Let me show you what I mean:

I checked my folder and theres no missing files. I tried inserting some female parts a while ago and there was no problem. How do I fix that? Maybe I should replace the male faces folder with the original files?

Yup. Looks like something went wrong when adding new parts. When adding new parts manually, you have to be extremely careful to use the proper naming of the files or else everything gets messed up.

a slightly more detailed explanation:

the generator needs all its parts named and numbered correctly in sequence. If you add something with a filename that is out of YOUR sequence, then the generator can no longer handle the parts correctly.

why did I emphasize YOUR sequence?
Different people add different parts to their generators, and no artist providing additional parts can know what parts you already added from other artists. each artist can only name their parts so that they fit their own generator.
which means that in all cases, every part to add you can get from the internet will always have the wrong filename, and you have to rename that file to fit your own generator numbering.

there are several tutorial here on the forum that tell you how to do this, but I have no link ready - you have to look for one of them yourself.

Here's a tutorial I found on the forums somewhen, somewhere. Really complicated stuff. Honestly, unless you create a lot of characters with the generator it's probably easier to just edit existing characters directly.
