Hey, everybody.

In my current project, I want to have a fight where the Actor is forced to perform an action every turn (specifically, to do nothing and be frightened of the enemy). Force Action only performs it once, and putting it in a loop doesn't give the enemy any turns.

Is there any way I can set an event to occur every time the Actor takes a turn?

Thanks in advance.

RMMV
Under your troop's settings, check to see that the frequency is set to Turn, and the condition is set to Turn 1 + 1.

If it's just doing nothing and showing a battle message that he's frighten.
Apply a state to the actor that does nothing and have that message set up in the state should work.

Thanks, this is great advice... except that the formula is Turn A + B*X, and I'm not sure how to set X, either. :/

X is set by the game itself, it means X turns.

So 1+1*X will run, at turn 2, turn 3, and so on
1+2*X will run at turn 3, turn 5, turn 7 and so on

(edited to add: Forgot to tell you there's a bug that came with the game, the turns aren't working as intended and 0 isn't working.
You will need to find the unofficial bug fix somewhere here in the forum)

But the easiest solution for a "immobilized" character is like what i said earlier,

make a new state that does nothing throughout the battle, one that can not be disabled.

You force the action once and apply that state to your character if you want an event to run,

the state should prevent him from doing anything else and simply display a message each turn after that.

If you simply wish to use the state, apply the state to the character at the start of the turn.

Oh, I figured out what it was. I had the span for the page set to "Battle," when it should've been set to "Turn."

Thanks for all your help!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
